Such a great experience for the Scouts but also for the leaders! The grounds are considered majestic by the staff and I see why. Our campsite is under a canopy of tall pine trees making for a natural bed of pine needles that I surprisingly soft and comfortable. The lake is clean n set up for fun activities such as kayaking, sailing, paddle boarding and swimming. Plenty of hiking trails and amenities throughout. If you're a scout you should definitely consider coming for summer camp!
My son goes to Scouts here. They had a cool dad of beebee guns, hotdogs and chips, axe throwing, Bow and Arrow area.... Pretty rad for the kids.

Love this camp for the kids! I got to spend a week there for the first time this year and am amazed by all the activities for the kids to do and skills for them to learn. It was my son's 3rd year and my daughter's 1st year ( she went to the Weblos camp fir 2 weeks this summer). We all love it and cannot wait to go back!

Yawgoog is a premier (my words - but true) scout camp. Our Troop has been going to Abe Lincoln @ Sandy Beach for 25+ years. The scouts always have a blast making great memories to tell around the campfire for years to come.
‘my own experience of this place’ dates back almost six decades, as elementary-school-age Boy Scout, so I’m an unreliable narrator, but Yawgoog seemed like an ideal summer camp to me then & still looks basically the same today, which is gratifying - hadn’t seen it since then, not counting its ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ appearance

It’s always fun to go to yawgoog! There are many different merit badges for the scouts to take and a lot of other fun things to do too! Such as water sports like paddle boarding and kayaking and hikes too! There is just so much to do!
